| Prefects |

Prefects in Otahuhu College are students who are considered role models to the younger students of Otahuhu College, Usually all prefects are Year 13 students that have a good academic progress in school.
There are three ranks of prefects: House Prefects, Head House Prefects & School Prefects. All prefects are chosen either through House Leaders or through the Senior Management Team, and all students carry out jobs like organising House teams for House Competitions or for events such as Haka Waiata & Athletics.

| UNIFORMS |

All students are required to wear correct school uniform and appropriate standards of grooming, neatness and cleanliness are stressed for all. The uniform is available from the College shop.
