Students learn best when home and school work together. If parents wish to contact the school they should not hesitate to do so. They are also welcome to visit the school to discuss any concerns regarding their sons or daughters.
A Parents' Support Group meets regularly throughout the school year and notices of such meetings are published in the monthly newsletter. Maori, Samoan and Tongan parents' groups also meet regularly to support our students. Meetings are mainly organised so that parents can get to know the school better and to raise any concerns which they might have.
Parents are also welcome to help support our school through being involved in the considerable variety of extra-curricular activities in which our students participate. The Otahuhu College Board of Trustees has five parent representatives who are elected to the Board every three years.
