School Life
School Day

The school day begins with a warning bell at 8.45 am. The first Period class starts at 8:50 am. School finishes at the end of Period 5 at 3.10 pm. There are separate senior and junior school assemblies for the student body after Period 4 and before lunch on allocated days for each level. During the remainder of the week the assembly is replaced by tutor class.

School Reports

An interim report is issued for all students in late March. Full reports are issued in June and November/December of each year. "Meet the Teacher" evenings are held in March after the release of the interim report and in June after the release of the mid-year report.

Property

All property brought to school, including clothing, must be plainly and permanently marked with the name and initials of the owner. Articles of value (eg. jewellery, radio, CD players, tape recorders, cellular telephones, pagers etc) should not be brought to school. Students are not allowed to use cellular telephones whilst at school. A telephone is available for student use and is located in the Deans Office. Students will need a phone card to use the telephone. The College does not accept responsibility for articles which are lost, but efforts will always be made to find them, provided they are clearly marked. Students are also warned not to bring large sums of money to school. However, when it is necessary to do so, money may be left at the School Office for safekeeping.
